⚙️ Want to lead the commissioning of cutting-edge rolling stock across Europe?
We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer ready to step into a lead/principal position, working on complex rail projects across test tracks, depots, and live environments.
You’ll take ownership of commissioning activities, lead teams on-site, and play a key role in delivering high-performance rolling stock systems.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
- Leading static & dynamic commissioning of rolling stock
- Testing and validating onboard systems (brakes, doors, HVAC, traction, control systems)
- Troubleshooting directly on vehicles in live environments
- Coordinating and supporting commissioning teams on-site
- Defining and improving test procedures and processes
- Supporting documentation and system acceptance
- Training and mentoring technicians and engineers
✅ What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in commissioning within rail / rolling stock
- Background in electrical engineering, control systems, or system integration
- Experience working with OEMs (e.g. Siemens, Alstom, Stadler)
- Hands-on field experience in testing & troubleshooting
- Ability to lead teams and manage on-site activities
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally
⭐ Nice to have
- ETCS / signalling knowledge
- PLC experience (Siemens TIA Portal etc.)
- RAMS / certification experience
- Previous leadership or senior-level responsibility
