Commissioning Engineer
Location: Remote inside Germany.
Job type: Permanent.
Our customer is a business within the field of warehouse automation and is currently seeking an additional mechatronics engineer to join their technical service and support team. This team support the installation and commissioning of their equipment at customer sites across Germany and Europe, and they travel extensively in the process (up to 90%).
What will the job include?
You will be the first point of contact for customers on site and represent our client. After several months of training, you will carry out commissioning and service work for the customer, either independently or in small teams, and always looking to meet the customers needs and keep customer safety at the forefront of everything you do.
What will you need in order to be considered?
- Basic technical training in the mechanical engineering industry or equivalent training
- Good knowledge of control technology in the field of mechanical engineering
- Experience and good knowledge of Siemens VFD’s
- Be able to diagnose/troubleshoot PLC issues (Step7/TIA Portal)
- Good hands-on mechanical installation knowledge and experience.
- Structured and independent way of working combined with high willingness to travel.
- Good English and German speaking ability.
