Requirements
Location: Germany (nationwide travel) | Remote-based when not travelling.
Travel: 80-100% (costs covered, mainly Germany, up to a week at a time.
Salary: €50-60k annually.
The Opportunity
We’re working with an established engineering business specialising in industrial machinery and automated storage solutions. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Servicetechniker to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of systems across Germany and Europe.
This is a field-based role offering a high level of autonomy, hands-on technical work, and international exposure.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installation and commissioning of industrial machines
- Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair on-site
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing
- Supporting retrofits and system upgrades
- Training customers on system usage and operation
- Identifying further service or upgrade opportunities during site visits
What We’re Looking For
- Background in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
- Experience in field service, commissioning, or maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Willingness to travel regularly (Germany + international)
- Independent, structured way of working
Nice to Have
- Experience with industrial machinery, storage systems, or intralogistics
- Exposure to automation or material handling systems
